I am pleased to announce that as with my previous four works my new book, Two And A Half Weeks In July has been released for sale by Amazon. The story is set in the early 1960’s and those who grew up in my part of town might recognize a number of the locales. The private eye mystery is available as either a paperback or an eBook and can be sourced through Amazon.com by title name or by Carl H Harrison.

It’s the middle of a heat wave in the big city in the early 1960’s. Harri Sontour has been hired to find a missing husband by his stunningly attractive wife. Upon starting the search he makes a number of missteps and wrong turns involving hoods, tough guys and a barber shop with a still in the back yard. Then it turns out the missing man was not missing after all. A new mystery and adventure then begins with the added intrigue of Harri being unsure of the truth of any part of the story being told him. He again comes across a number of hard cases who this time threaten his existence. It takes a trip to Mexico by way of a stomach churning boat ride from Cuba to finally get at the truth. Startled by this and the situation he finds himself in Harri returns to the big city intent on settling the score with those who tried to use him as a patsy.
