A few months back while flying home from a holiday in British Columbia I was sat next to a gentleman and we started talking. He was a retired English teacher who in retirement had become involved in a number of things around Winnipeg. One of them was radio station CJNU-93.7. In addition to the obvious the radio station also maintains a web site that publishes articles and news. When he learned I write a bit he asked me to submit a piece for the website, which I did.
